What I observed from this conversation was that they're two people who know each other but had not seen each other for a while now. They were quite informal with the way they spoke and you can see this from the way they greeted each other, which suggest that they had a close relationship before. Their conversation was really short as they had limited time to talk which only one of them were aware of as the person A had to leave so only spoke about that which she knew she had time for, whereas person B went with the flow of the conversation as one person is more dominant in the conversation and in this case Person A is. They kept their conversation consistent throughout. Neither of the maxims was used in this conversation apart from the Marxim of quantity which was used once.
